About | BRIAN ALAN “WOODY” WOODWARD Brian Alan “Woody” Woodward, 67 died at his home on November 15, 2014 following a period of failing health. He was born in Laconia on June 30, 1947; the son of Edsel A and Barbara (Jones) Woodward. He was raised in Meredith, attended Elementary School and was a graduate of Interlakes High School. He also attended Belknap College. Following his school years he was employed by W.F. Richards & Son, Goodwin Railroad as an engineer and many years for Ambrose Construction Company. Woody enjoyed his family, railroading, and sharing stories. He is survived by his wife Louise (Thompson) Woodward of Holderness, two sons Cory Woodward and Jake Woodward and his fiancé Lindsey Karsten of Holderness, his parents of Meredith, two brothers Ellis Woodward of Exeter and Brad Woodward of Old Orchard Beach, Maine. His brother-in-laws Skip, Stub, and Lewie Thompson, all of Holderness, and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm at the Dupuis Funeral Home, 11 Hill Avenue in Ashland. Dupuis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
