About Anthony Joseph "AJ: Rosselli 69 of Newton, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at CareOne at Madison Ave, In Morristown. Born in Newton to the late Tony and Catherine Rosselli. AJ was a lifelong resident of Newton. He graduated from Newton High School in 1968 and immediately enlisted in the Marine Corps, serving his country during the Vietnam War. AJ was a longtime employee of Limecrest Quarry in Sparta, working as a heavy equipment operator. A sports enthusiast, AJ enjoyed the Yankees. He was especially fond of soccer and had been a board member of the New Jersey Youth Soccer Association. He also enjoyed trap shooting, trout fishing and horse races. AJ will always be remembered for the way he could answer just about any question you threw at him; he was easy to talk to. AJ was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Bill Rosselli Sr. and his sister, Elizabeth Greco. He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey L. Rosselli, Scott M. Rosselli and wife, Kimberly, and Kevin Rosselli; his grandchildren, Mason A. Rosselli and Isabella C. Rosselli; his nephews, Bill Rosselli Jr., and Mathew Rosselli He is also survived by many friends, including his lifelong childhood friend, Larry Crawn. All friends and family are invited to a luncheon to celebrate AJ's life on Sunday April 22, 2018, from noon to 3pm at Newton Memorial Post 5360 VFW, 85 Mill St. Newton.
