About | Taken from APP Obit Sept 10th, 2008 GREGORY PHILIP ADAMO AGE: 50 FORMERLY OF WALL Gregory Philip Adamo, 50, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Wall, died Tuesday, July 1. Born in Orange, Gregory lived in Wall before moving to Phoenix 12 years ago. Gregory graduated from Wall High School in the Class of 1976. As an athlete in high school, Gregory's nickname was Rocky; he was a member of the wrestling and baseball teams. He attended Arizona State College. Gregory was very spiritual and had a strong faith in God, which he shared with members in his community. He had a passion for traveling and the outdoors, especially the beach at the Jersey Shore. He always followed the weather patterns and called frequently to give weather reports. Gregory was predeceased by his brother, Philip Adamo. Surviving are his parents, Philip and Joan Adamo; a brother, David; two sisters, Patricia and Gina Lyons and her husband Michael; and a sister-in-law, Diane. He also leaves six nieces, Jennifer, Jamie, Dari, Devyn, Lauren, and Britni; and six nephews, Jason, Joshua, Brett, Philip, Michael, and Philip. A memorial service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Highway 35, Wall.
