If you look in the dictionary under "loyal friend", you will find Dougie's picture. Tragically taken from us along with Harold Bosch and Mike Dzerk on January 29, 1985, he was a true friend to the end. What I miss the most about Dougie is his smile. It was contagious. Actually, it still is, because just thinking about it has me smiling right now. One of the funniest people I've ever met, and I miss him terribly. Time will never erase the memories and laughter we shared. On the 20th anniversary of his death, I came to town to put roses on his grave, and happened to bump into one of his brothers. He brought me to see other members of Dougies family who I had not seen in YEARS....Coincedence? I think not......Miss you Dougie! See you again one day! xoxoxo |
