| About | Rich died unexpectedly but peacefully at his Akron, OH. residence where he'd lived the past 28 years. An avid reader and gifted cook and baker he was found sitting in a favorite chair with a book beside him and loaves of bread dough rising on the stove. After East High he went on to Hobart College where he majored in History and graduated with a Bachelors Degree. During ensuing years he did graduate studies at the U. of Kansas; Library Science and at Emporia, also in Kansas; English History ( a great love of his). He enjoyed creating with his hands, be it gardening, knitting, crocheting or interior renovating. Rich is survived by his siblings; Jennifer(CFA,'63), Suzanne(Corning East, '64) and by this writter, Jeffrey(Corning East, '66). Shocked by the news of his death we miss him greatly. Per his wishes his funeral service was a full funeral mass at St Andrews Episcopal Church, Akron, OH. |
