Age 24 - Massena - Funeral services for Adam M. Henry, 24, of Ocala, FL, formerly of Norwood, will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the New Testament Church in Massena. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Norwood. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop. Adam died Thursday, May 25, 2006 at Estelle’s Hospice House in Ocala, FL, with his family by his side. He is survived by his mother, Jane I. Henry of Ocala, FL; one brother, Josh Henry of Ocala; two sisters, Nicole Henry and April Henry both of Ocala; his grandmother, Lois Seamans of Brasher Falls; his grandfather, Gerald Henry of Brasher Falls; aunts and uncles, Michael and Karen Henry of Brasher Falls, Ken and Carol Henry of Reno, Nev., John and Jamie Henry of Germany, Beatrice Shannon of Massena, Chuck and Carol Sperling of Parish, Peggy Dashnaw of Brasher Falls, and Larry Mott of Pulaski; and several cousins. Adam was pre-deceased by his father, Jerry W. Henry, who died on May 7, 1999. Adam was born on Sept. 18, 1981 in Massena, the son of Jerry W. and Jane I. (Mott) Henry. He graduated from Norwood-Norfolk High School in 2000 and moved to Florida shortly after. He was employed by Carriage Trade Consignment in Ocala, FL. Adam attended the Ocala Word of Faith Church in Ocala and previously attended the New Testament Church in Massena. Adam loved sports of all kinds and played hockey from age four through high school.
