Age 48 - Norfolk - The funeral for Andrew H. Myers, 48, was held at the Church of the Visitation with the Rev. Andrew Amyot, pastor, officiating. Spring burial was made in the parish cemetery. Mr. Myers died Wednesday evening in Norfolk at the home of his parents, with whom he lived. He served in the National Guard for six years and was an electrical engineer with New York State Electric and Gas, Vestal, for 24 years. Born June 21, 1950, in Potsdam, a son of Frank and Barbara Finch Myers, he was a 1968 graduate of Norwood-Norfolk Central School, where he was salutatorian, and a 1972 graduate of Clarkson University. A communicant of the Church of the Visitation, he enjoyed bowling, golfing and fishing and was active with softball and hockey leagues. Surviving besides his parents are several uncles, aunts and cousins. |
