About | ALTONA - Nathen F. Colvin, 38, of Altona passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009, at his home. Born on Aug. 4, 1970, he was the son of Cherilynn (Breason) Colvin and the late Frank J. Colvin Jr. Nathen was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, drawing and playing softball. Nathen was preceded in death by his father, Frank Colvin Jr., his grandparents, Alfred Breason, Lois Breason, Lena Cross, Frank Colvin and his uncle, Leonard Colvin. Survivors include, his mother, Cherilynn Colvin of Queensbury; his companion and life partner, Wendy Therrian of Altona; his three sons: Blayne Colvin, Ryan Colvin and Holden Therrian; his daughter, Corinn Therrian; his two brothers, Alan Colvin and his wife, Tara, of Lake George and David Hermance of Queensbury; he is also survived by nieces and nephews, Olivia Decoste, Phillip Colvin, Rilee Colvin and Emily Hatch. Friends may call on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Carlton Funeral Home Inc., 68 Main St. in Hudson Falls. Memorial services will follow at 10 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home with Pastor Joshua Miller of New Life Baptist Church, officiating. Following the memorial service, there will be a gathering at American Legion Post No. 574 on Pearl Street, in Hudson Falls.
