Raymond was born July 14, 1954 to Carmine and Beverly Romano of Valhalla, NY. Raymond attended Columbus Avenue Elementary School and Valhalla High School, graduating in 1972. He received an associate's degree in applied science from Westchester Community College and a bachelor of science degree and master of business administration from Pace University, Pleasantville, NY. He was a partner with the firm KPMG Peat Marwick, traveling to Geneva, Switzerland on Swissair 111 which crashed into the ocean off of Nova Scotia on September 2, 1998, killing all 229 persons on board. Raymond is survived by his wife Lyn Towndrow Romano, two sons, Raymond and Randy Romano of Golden's Bridge, NY, his mother, Beverly Romano of Ashburn, VA, and his sister, Lynn Romano Zimney of Herndon, Va. His father predeceased him in 1981. |
