About |
At the age of 27, Dottie suffered a brain hemorrhage. She had 2 major surgeries to try to resolve the cause, but ultimately died at the age of 44 when she suffered another brain hemorrhage. She was an organ donor, and her liver went to a 15 year old girl, her kidneys, heart and lungs to others. She was divorced at the time of her death. She left behind a daughter, Stefanie, as well as her parents, Maj. (ret.) Percy E. Stanton and Camille Pardo Stanton, as well as her younger siblings Cyndi, Richard, and Robert. Her brother Ernie “Skipper” preceded her in death. She was a beautiful young woman, but never let her beauty outshine her personality, which was one of zany humor, her love for family, and love of music and poetry, of which she also composed. She is sorely missed by her family. May she, her brother, and her parents, who passed years after Dottie, each be resting in peace. She had a blast at Westhampton Beach H.S. |
