| About | Bobby A. Warren of Asheville, born February 22, 1940, in Candler, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013 at his home surrounded by loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rufus A. Warren and Edith Stewart Warren; his devoted wife of 30 years, Norma Harris Britt Warren; sister, Arlene Crowe; and brothers, Rufus A. Warren Jr. and Billy Edward Warren. He is survived by siblings, Carolyn and Bob Wise of Horse Shoe, Benny Ray Warren of Arden, Loretta and Michael Changery of Woodfin, Danny and LaVerne Warren of Candler, Dennis and Cecilia Warren of Kernersville, Albert Crowe of Candler; many nieces and nephews; stepchildren, Pamela McLarty of Alexander, Patsy Shank of Maggie Valley, Shane Britt of Alexander; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He served in the U.S Air force in both Asia and Europe as an air traffic controller. He worked as a mechanic for American Enka/BASF and retired there after 40 years of service. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed. Bobby's brothers, sisters, and stepchildren will receive visitors and condolences at their respective homes.
