She was born November 14, 1981 in Forsyth county to Robert L. Carpenter and Tammy Meeks Carpenter. She was a CNA and Medical Assistant for Concentra and Oakes at Forsyth. She was a Graduate of Devry University and attended First Calvary Baptist Church. She was a volunteer Math Instructor for New Direction for Our Youth. She was preceded in death by her son, Jayden Robert Carpenter; grandparents; aunts; and uncles. She leaves to cherish her memory: mother, Tammy Carpenter; and father, Robert Carpenter; sisters, Angelina C. Meeks, Wendy Carpenter, Wanda Carpenter, and Tilla McDowell; grandparents, Leroy & Callie Carpenter; uncle, Wayne Carpenter ; and aunts, Shelly Meeks, Penny Dalton (Thomas), Karen Carpenter, Phylis Carpenter, Theresa Carpenter, Sandra Colson (Orien). Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. at First Calvary Baptist Church where the Rev. Calvin Runnels will officiate and Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 12:30 at the Church. The Funeral Cortege will assemble and leave from the residence. Arrangements entrusted to Gilmore Funeral Home. West Forsyth Class of 2000 we have lost another classmate.
