| About | John A Spencer of Severna Park MD died on September 8, 2017 after a long, hard fought battle of metastatic prostate cancer. He received degrees from The Ohio State University and The George Washington University. Upon graduation from Ohio State he worked for the National Security Agency until his retirement in 2000. During his years at the agency he was awarded the Director's Fellowship, the Meritorious Civilian Service Award and the Office of the Secretary of Defense Award for Excellence. He was an active participant in church activities and served in many leadership positions. He loved to read, play golf and enjoy his classic Porsche and previous vintage sports cars. He is survived by his wife Donna of 48 years, two daughters and six grandchildren. |
