OHN S. "JACK" RIPPLE, JR., 56, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he was a son of the late John S. Ripple, Sr. and Doris Ripple who survives. Jack earned his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Colorado State University. He worked for and was a lifetime supporter of the Boy Scouts of America during his working career. His passion for the Scouts started early on as he worked his way to becoming an Eagle Scout. He was a member of the Anthony Wayne Rotary Club where he was extremely active and considered his fellow club members as his second family. He was lead usher for IPFW for many years and was a huge supporter and volunteer for the Roller Derby and the Three Rivers Festival. He also enjoyed being outdoors, playing his guitar, and attending many concerts in Fort Wayne. Surviving are his mother, Doris Ripple of Carmel; brothers, Richard Ripple and James Ripple, both of Carmel; nephew, Michael Amero; and niece, Hailey Ripple. |
