| About | Edward Ashton As Greens Superintendent of Maplecrest Golf Club for over three decades, Ed took pride from the result of his long hours, which were directly responsible for bringing beauty, notoriety and prosperity to a once plain struggling course owned by the Irving Family. In return Eddie gained many priceless friendships. Ed deeply loved his children and family, who not only loved Ed, but liked him. Andrew (Anna) and Amy helped care for their father since April. Much care came, brother, Jeff and Kathy; in-laws, Mary, John, and Linda Paxton; best friend, John Lambert, Sr. and Diana and numerous friends, family and VNS Hospice. Ed and wife Janice are very grateful for the help of everyone.
