| About | Jean Ann (Marqardt) Szentes  |   Visit Guest Book Jean Ann Szentes (nee Marquardt), 53, passed away surrounded by her loving family after a courageous three year battle with cancer. Jean retired from Acme after 23 years of service. She fought this battle with grace and determination and was not going to let it stand in her way. Her life was dedicated to her children and her family. Holiday's were her passion with her cooking, decorating, and opening her home to everyone. Preceded in death by parents, Jack and Verna Marquardt; and brother-in-law, Tim Lentsch. She is survived by her husband, Louie; daughter, Sarah (Joe); son, Brandon; brothers, Bill (Barb), Pat (Helen); sisters, Laurie (Scott), Kathy (Bill) and Carol (Jack); numerous nieces and nephews; and constant companions, Sammy and Ava. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. on MONDAY, November 28, 2011 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls with interment at Oakwood Cemetery, Cuyahoga Falls, following. Family will receive fiends at Anthony Funeral Homes, McGowan-Reid and Santos Funeral Chapel (at 3rd street, one block north of Portage Trail in the Falls) on SUNDAY, November 27, from 2 to 6 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Falls Cancer Club Published in Akron Beacon Journal on November 26, 2011 |
