| About | From the Akron Beacon Journal: Katherine (Kathy) Ann Stinson, 48, of Westlake, Ohio, passed away Dec. 27, 2006. Kathy was born in Oakhill, W. Va., and was raised in Cuyahoga Falls where she graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High in 1977 and Kent State University with a degree in marketing. She lived in Minnesota before moving to Westlake to take a job with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield in the small group sales division. Kathy loved animals, particularly Golden Retrievers, but most of all she loved skiing in Aspen, Colo. She believed in physical fitness and practiced yoga and ate organic food. Preceded in death by her father, Howard and her brother, Timmy, Kathy's warm smile and zest for life will be sadly missed by her mother and stepfather, Victoria and Marvin Lucas; brothers, Jerry (Theresa) Stinson, Jim (Alisa) Stinson; stepbrothers, Mitchell (Debbie) Lucas, Craig (Donna) Lucas; aunts, Pat (Babe) Stover, Joyce (Andrew) Stewart, Rebecca (Harry) Williams; uncle, Leon (Susan) Daciek; nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Wade) Gottschalk, Melissa, Cassandra, and Peyton Lucas, Ashley, Andrw, Max and Sam Stinson; great-nieces, Camryn Loheim and Hailey Gottschalk; great-nephew, Franklin Loheim and her Golden Retriever, ``Logan." |
