About | Stephen E. Coleman Stephen E. Coleman, 52, passed into heaven Aug. 31, 2004, surrounded by his family. Born in Akron, he lived in the area most of his life. He was in charge of maintenance with the Ron Marhofer Auto Group, and attended the United Evangelical Church in Tallmadge. He was a craftsman and Mr. Fixit. He enjoyed his family, cooking, camping, boating, bowling, and car racing. He was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Tari Mace, and is survived by wife, Karen of Akron; parents, Wayne (Sandy) Coleman of South Carolina and Opal Smith of Florida; step daughter, Trish (Mike) Burns of Doylestown; stepson, Todd (Christina) Fleming of Tall madge; stepson-in-law, Michael Timothy Mace; sisters, Christine Lemm and Susan Coleman, both of Tennessee; grandchildren, Christopher Mace, Nicho las and Dana Fleming. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, 2004, at the United Evangelical Church, 226 Southeast Ave., Tallmadge, with Rev. Michael Hollinger officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. TODAY, Sept. 2, 2004, at the Donovan Funeral Home, 17 Southwest Ave. (on the Historic Tallmadge Circle).
