About | Maurice Lamar Robinson, 55, of Dayton, was called to join the Ancestors on Wednesday, August 27, 2008. He was born April 29, 1953 in Elyria. Maurice was the third of nine children. He graduated with the class of 1971 from Elyria High School. He proudly served his country honorably in the U.S. Marine Corp. He later went on to complete numerous skilled certifications while in the Marines, employed at U.S. Steel, Lorain Works and Mansfield Reformatory. He was a Chief Engineer at Dayton Correctional Institution (DCI), Dayton. "Uncle Cowboy", as he was adoringly called by his nieces and nephews was attentive and loving to them all. He enjoyed playing dominoes, pool, fishing and hunting. Maurice leaves his loving wife, Charlotte Cook Robinson; daughters, Stephanie Marie Robinson-Jackson, LeAndra Marie, Adena Marie Stewart, Zabra Marie; a son, Micduff Lennox Robinson. My brother Maurice was a loving and upright Man and he will be missed. |
