| About | Ronald Brian Walker, 50, of Pataskala, Ohio died April 3, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Ron was born August 4, 1966 in Elyria, Ohio, to Ronald and Kathleen (Gordon) Walker. Along with his parents, Ron is survived by his wife, Nancy Finn Walker; daughters, Heather (Johnny) Ward and Kari (John Duckworth) Walker; grandchildren, Cora, Alex, and future granddaughter Lainey; sisters, Teresa (Pat) Murphy; Jody (James) Himel, nephews, and his best friend, Mark Stowers. Ron was a 1985 graduate of Elyria High School. Ron proudly served twelve years in the United States Navy. Ron was a dedicated employee with Abercrombie & Fitch, New Albany, Ohio, as an HVAC facilities manager and will be greatly missed. His interests included hiking, cooking, cars, and music. Ron especially loved spending time with his dogs. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Ron's name to: Friends of Hocking Hills State Park, PO Box 101, Logan, Ohio, 43138. Donations will be used to honor Ron with a bench and plaque in his name.
