Charles D. Curran, 62, of Painesville, passed away Feb. 6, 2014, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby. Born Feb. 4, 1952, in Painesville, he was a longtime member of Perry Christian Church and was a 1971 graduate of Fairport Harding High School. Charles had served in the U.S. Army. Survivors are his daughters, Angela Curran of Painesville Township and Patricia Schilling of Fairport Harbor; son, Jerry Curran of Painesville; grandchildren, Amontay, Faith and Roseann; sisters, Christeen Schikowski of South Dakota, Barbara Curran of Ashtabula, Cathleen (Kevin) Fisher of Ashtabula, and Lucinda Curran of Painesville; best friend, Jim (Pam) Curtis of Fairport Harbor; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen (Sanders) Curran. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at Perry Christian Church, 3270 Call Road, Perry. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
