| About | Barbara A. Schell, 61, of S. Collinwood Blvd., Fremont died Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born July 30, 1948 in Escanaba, MI to Roy and Louise (Wunder) Seward. She was a 1966 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Barbara married David A. Schell on April 15, 1972 in Fremont and he survives. She had twenty years of service at Quickcut until they closed. She then went to work at Aeroquip for eight years and retired in 2001. Barbara loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed nature, gardening and traveling. Barb loved her cats, Alley and Rusty. Barbara is survived by her husband, David A. Schell, Fremont, OH; children, Tracy Gant and her husband Thomas Gant, Lakeland, FL, Rachel Schell, Fremont, OH; siblings, Shari Harvey, Anchorage, AK, Gary Seward, Michael Seward, both of Bellevue, OH, Bonnie Towner of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Justin and Kayla Gant, Kristen Varallo and David Schell II. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. Visitation: Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to noon at Wonderly-Horvath-Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH Service: Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Beverly Hart officiating.
