About | Alice Bunning, 83, of Nogales, Arizona and formerly of Northwood, Ohio, died Tuesday, January 31, 2006. Alice was born in Gibsonburg, Ohio on February 23, 1922, to August and Metta (Schmidt) Harmeyer. She graduated from Genoa High School in 1940 and still enjoyed monthly reunions with classmates when she would return to the area. On September 26, 1942, Alice married Roy V. Bunning. In 1960 Alice and Roy started their own business, Royal Tool Inc., which grew into an international business when they purchased Sun Tool. Alice served as secretary-treasurer of the company for many years. In 1947 she was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses at an International Convention in Los Angeles, California and remained a faithful witness of Jehovah until her death. She is survived by her husband, Roy. Alice was preceded in death by her sons, Franklin and David; parents and her sister, Marion Younker A memorial service was held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Nogales. Interment is at the family plot in Clay Township Cemetery.
