About | Alma Jean "Jeannie" Stamm, 55 of Fremont, OH died Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, OH. She was born June 24, 1955 in Toledo, OH to the late Edward B. and Thelma L. (Chandler) McCormick. She was a 1973 graduate of Genoa High School where she attended Penta Career Center. She also attended Owens & Terra Community Colleges. On July 30, 2005 she married Dean Stamm and he survives. Jeannie was a Licensed Beautician for the Genoa Area for 34 years retiring in 2005. She currently was a Supportive Living Provider for the Luther Home of Mercy in Oak Harbor. She was a member of La Pointe United Methodist Church, Port Clinton and Photography clubs in Port Clinton and at Terra Community College. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, playing the piano, listening to classical music, traveling with her husband on his musical gigs and taking pictures. She loved her dogs and cats, watching CSI, traveling to the Upper Peninsula, and sharing her Nursing Home and Musical Ministry with her husband, Dean. Survivors include her husband Dean Stamm of Fremont, sons: Andy Rodriguez of Elliston, OH and Eddie Rodriguez of Oak Harbor; step daughters: Stacy Stamm of Toledo, OH and Mary (David) Stamm Carpenter of Denver, CO; grandson Cooper Rodriguez; sisters: Larunah Napier of Jacksonville, FL, Carolyn (Gale) Pfleghaar of Genoa, OH, Mary (Jim) Metroff of Millbury, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters: Janice Thompson, Marilyn Sofo, and Margaret McCormick. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-8pm at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor with the family present 2-4 & 6-8pm. Funeral Services will be Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 2pm with the family to receive friends one hour prior at La Pointe United Methodist Church, Port Clinton. Burial will be in Union Cemetery Oak Harbor. Memorial Contributions may be given to La Pointe United Methodist Church or Luther Home of Mercy Supportive Living.
