About | Audrey M. Huss, 88, of Huss Drive, passed away Friday (Sept. 27, 2013) in the Lebanon VA Medical Center, Lebanon. Born Nov. 23, 1924, in Clearfield, she was a daughter of Paul and Mary Barton Gross. On Jan. 12, 1946, in Columbus, Ohio, she married Robert D. Huss, who died July 9, 2008. Mrs. Huss was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Marines. Audrey was a graduate of Genoa High School, Genoa, Ohio, Class of 1942. She had worked for Standard Oil Co. of Ohio, and helped her husband run the family farm in Turtlepoint since 1968. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Genoa, Ohio, Order of Eastern Star, Genoa chapter, Genoa, Ohio; and the Ohio Grange. Surviving are a son, Kenneth R. (Etta) Huss of Turtlepoint; three daughters, Sharon A. Huss of Deltona, Fla., Rebecca S. "Becky" Neaus of Harrisburg and Rhonda M. (Ray) Butler of Roulette; five grandsons, four granddaughters; a brother, Duane W. Gross of Rimersburg; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; a son, Kevin A. Huss, who died Jun. 2, 2011; two granddaughters, Jill and Lori Schultz; and two brothers, Glenn E. and Kenneth B. Gross. There will be no visitation. A private funeral service will be held Thursday in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany, with the Rev. Michael Culver, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Port Allegany, officiating. Burial will be in Annin Creek Cemetery, Turtlepoint. Memorials can be made to the S.W.
