Craig J. Dunn, 57, of Genoa, Ohio, died late Wednesday evening, March 6, 2013, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. He was born August 14, 1955, to George H. and Maxine M. (Freimark) Dunn. On December 12, 1980, in Genoa, he married Karen Brown and she survives. He was a 1973 graduate of Genoa High School and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Genoa.Craig was self-employed as a carpenter for many years. He loved his life in Genoa and was often affectionately referred by his friends as "governor" of Genoa. Craig was a family man, who loved his wife and kids and adored his grandchildren. He had many friends that were a big part of his life. He was a man of integrity and fairness and treated everyone in that manner in everything he did. He gave much time and talent to others. He coached and served as past president of Genoa Little League, as well as helping with other offices, and was now watching his grandchildren play. He served on the Zoning Board of Appeals until his health kept him from attending. Craig was a dedicated hunter, especially deer hunting in Pennsylvania, which he referred to as a "God's Country." He enjoyed camping in his motor home and going to the casinos with his family and friends. Craig packed more into his 57 years than most do in 100!In addition to his wife, Karen, Craig is survived by his mother, Maxine Dunn; daughter, Angie (Matthew) Bradfield; sons, Brian (April) Huston, Matthew "Dewey" (Lisa) Dunn, and Andrew (Erin) Dunn; 10 grandchildren, Matthew, Josiah, Jacob, Hannah, Grace and Nehemiah Bradfield, Jonathan and James Huston, and Gabrielle and Colton Dunn, and two more grandsons expected this summer; he is also survived by his brothers, Randy (Debbie) Dunn and Allan (Michelle) Dunn; and father-in-law, Ken (Thelma) Brown. His father, brother, Kevin Dunn, and mother-in-law, Doris Brown, preceded him in death.Visitation for Craig will be 2-8 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2013, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted 1:30 p.m., Sunday, March 10, 2013, in St. John's United Church of Christ, 1213 Washington St., Genoa, with burial to follow in Clay Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorials for Craig be directed to the ALS Association (in honor of his longtime friend, Tim Brooks), Northern Ohio Chapter, 6155 Rockside Rd.
