| About | Dean R. Helle, 63, of Oak Harbor, formerly of Curtice, died Sunday, September 7, 2003, in Fremont Memorial Hospital. Dean was born March 4, 1940, in Curtice to Richard and Eileen (Klatt) Helle. He retired in 2001 after 34 years from Teledyne in Toledo, working in maintenance. He was a member of the UAW Local 12 of Toledo. Dean graduated from Genoa High School in 1959 and served overseas for four years in the U.S. Air Force from 1962-66. He collected extensively and enjoyed all types of music. Dean faced serious illnesses with quiet strength and courage, and we shall mourn the passing of this gentle man. Dean is survived by his brother, David (Virginia) Helle of Graytown; sister, Donna (Charles) Foss of Fremont; a niece; nephews, and great nieces and nephews. His parents preceded him in death. Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 11, 2003, in the Robinson-Henn-Brossia Funeral Home, Genoa, with interment to follow in Allen Township Cemetery, Williston. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. The family has suggested memorials to the Luther Home of Mercy, Williston, or the donor's choice. |
