Elaine M. Zimmerman, 69, of Genoa, died Friday, Aug 3, 2012 at Hospice of NW Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born July 19, 1943 in Genoa and was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Genoa. Elaine retired from the Lutheran Home and Hardee's Travel Store. She loved her chocolate lab "Molly". Elaine is survived by her mother: Edna Zimmerman of Genoa; brother: Delmar (Rita) Zimmerman of Walbridge; 14 nieces and nephews; 26 great nieces and nephews; 15 great great nieces and nephews and her best friend: Darlene Pressley-Traver of Genoa. She was preceded in death by her father: Carl S. Zimmerman; sisters: Dorothy E. Peterson & Karen K. Camp and brother: Robert C. Zimmerman Friends may call Monday, Aug 6, 2012 from 12 noon until funeral service conducted at 1pm in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St, Genoa. Pastor Don Giesmann will officiate. Interment will follow in Clay Twp. Cemetery. Friends may express their condolences at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
