Eleanor E. Nolte, 94, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on June 29, 2013, with her loving family at her side at the Goerlich Center. She was born November 14, 1918, in Bascom, Ohio, to John and Pearl (Andrews) Reinbolt. Eleanor graduated from Genoa High School, attended De Sales and Mary Manse Colleges. She married Irwin (Bud) Nolte in May 1943. He preceded her in death. Ellen was employed at Champion Spark Plug from near the beginning of World War II until her retirement in 1983. She loved traveling, gardening, and spending time with family and friends always trying to be helpful in any way she could. Ellen was a long-time member of Gesu Church. She was a Girl Scout co-leader, a Cub Scout Den Mother, a Eucharistic minister, and a member of the Fifty Plus Club, Christ Renews His Parish, Charlie's Angels, Catholic Charismatic Renewal, and the Newman Guild of the University of Toledo. Ellen is survived by her daughter, Judith (Ernest) Lippert of Toledo; daughter, Janice of Toledo; son, Gary of Palm Bay, Florida; grandchildren, Emma Gargano and Michael (Stacey) Baker; great-grandchildren, Caleb and Alex, Tyler and Mason. Also sister-in-law, Joan Reinbolt of Oregon, Ohio; brother-in-law, Beryl Smith of Bowling Green, Ohio; god-daughter, Becky Suppes of Byron Center, Michigan, and may other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John and Raymond Reinbolt; sister, Sr. Mary Damian Reinbolt of Mandeville, Jamaica; sisters-in-law, Francis Reinbolt and Bette Smith; great-nephew, Curt Reinbolt, and god-son, Bill Oberst. Visitation and a scripture service will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Ansberg-West Funeral Home 3000 West Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, Ohio. Friends are also welcome to visit on Wednesday after 10:00 a.m. at Gesu Church, 2049 Parkside Boulevard Toledo, where a funeral mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
