About | Helen E. Mermer, age 89, of Rossford, Ohio passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born in Toledo on November 28, 1922, to John and Myrtle (Noyes) Lewis. Helen was a graduate of Genoa High School where she played varsity basketball. She was employed at Danny's Café and the Polish Club in Rossford for many years. She was very outgoing and loved life to the fullest. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed. Surviving is her son, Charles "Skip" (Debbie) Clark; grandchildren, Chad (Ame) Clark, Chris (Jennifer) Clark and Craig (Mandie) Clark, and great-grandchildren, Abby, Colton and Evie Clark. Also surviving is her brother, George Lewis. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lewis in 1980 and her parents. |
