Jean (Tank) Uthoff, age 87, of Rockford, MI, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 7, 2007. Jean was born in Toledo, Ohio, on September 10, 1919, to H.A. and Helen Tank. Raised in Williston, Ohio, Jean graduated from Genoa Ohio High School and then received her Registered Nursing degree from Toledo Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at the University Hospital in Cleveland and The Toledo Hospital. In 1943, she married Carl W. Uthoff and in 1949 they moved to Grand Rapids where Carl practiced medicine. She is survived by her children, David and Maggie Uthoff of Pahrump, NV, and Daniel and Sandra Uthoff of Rockford; grandchildren, Shannon Uthoff, Jamie and Jeffrey King, Kimberly Uthoff, Stephanie Uthoff, Carly Uthoff, Andrew Uthoff and Matthew Uthoff. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, an infant granddaughter, Stacey Lynn, and her parents. The service for Mrs. Uthoff was held in Rockford, MI.
