About | Karen Ann Johnson, 43, of Toledo, died unexpectedly in her home Wednesday, October 31, 2007. She was born July 30, 1964, in Toledo, Ohio, to Alan R. and Avis M. (Carpenter) Johnson. Karen was a 1982 graduate of Genoa Area High School and received an associate degree from the University of Toledo. She was employed for 25 years in the banking community, most recently as a vice president in commercial lending. Her many hobbies included golfing and quilting. She was an avid euchre player and a great fan of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State football. Karen was devoted to her family, especially her nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Alan and Avis, Karen is survived by her brothers, Warren (Teresa), Randall, Jeffery, and Gary (Jennifer) Johnson; step brother, Joseph (Tanya) Kutchenriter; aunts, Diana (David) Shook and Thais (Brad) McTaggart, uncle, Phillip (Roseanne) Johnson; nieces, Meghan, Clarissa, and Anabelle, nephews, Caleb, Luke, and Aiden; and her close companion, Don J. Finnegan, Jr. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence and Elsie Johnson and Waldo and Violet Carpenter, and step brother, Todd Simpson. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday, November 4, 2007, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 5, 2007, in St. John Lutheran Church, Williston, with interment to follow in Allen Township Cemetery.
