| About | Lawrence E. Rhoads, Jr., 54, of Millbury, passed away on August 20th, 2010, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. Larry was born on December 30, 1955 in Toledo. He graduated from Genoa High School and served in the Navy. He was a structural painter on the Ohio Turnpike before his retirement. He was known for his love of the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Sr. and Arlene Rhoads, and nephew, Alan B. Sheppard. Surviving are his fiancee', Phyllis Smith; sisters, Joan Weil and Cheryl (Joe) Hughes; nieces, Jennifer Brubaker and Michelle Banks; great niece, Hannah Brubaker and great nephew, Benjamin Lawson. A private memorial service was held. The family asks that any tributes be in the form of donations to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. .Published in Toledo Blade on August 25, 2010 |
