Mark "Sparky" A. Chambers, 54, of Wayne, Ohio, died Tuesday, July 4, 2006, in his residence. Mark was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 30, 1952, to Gerald and Eunice (Haar) Chambers. He was a 1970 graduate of Genoa High School and obtained his degree in Electrical Engineering at Owens Technical College. Mark was employed by American Warming Ventilating Company, Bradner, Ohio plant. He had also worked for the IAM Co. of Rossford, Ohio and for the builder Carl Kocis of Genoa. Mark was a member of the former Sons of the American Legion of Genoa. He was a very much a handy man and liked to work with his hands. In his spare time he enjoyed listening to music and playing his guitar. Survivors include his mother, Eunice of Genoa; his companion, Judy Hall of Wayne; siblings, James Chambers, Gail (Kent) Whitman, Lori (Reggie) Strauss, Wendy Chambers, Denise (Scott) Schimming, Gwen (Scott) Ellithorpe, all of Genoa, and nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Gerald; grandparents, Benjamin and Margaret Chambers, and Carl and Luella Haar. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2006, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, 501 West St. Genoa. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2006. Interment will be in the Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa. Memorials in Mark's name may be made to the family.
