About | Pauline B. Ickes, age 74, of Bradner, Ohio, passed away on Saturday (September 10, 2011) at her home. She was born on October 22, 1936 in Genoa, Ohio to the late Arlow and Marie (Duncan) Bickford. She married Keith D. Ickes on September 5, 1970 in Bradner. Surviving is her loving husband of 41 years, Keith; son, Michael (Liza) Ickes of Cleveland; daughters, Debbra L. Ickes of Findlay, Tina Marie (Scott) Ceglio of Toledo; sister, Carol (Clyde) Nix of Boaz, Alabama; sister-in-law, Margaret "Peg" Bickford of Toledo; grandchildren, Brent, Faith, Dawn, Elisha, Trevor and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Don and Robert. Pauline retired from the Wood County Hospital after 25 years in the Medical Billing Department. She was a member of the Church of Good Shepherd near Wayne and was a 1955 graduate of Genoa High School. She enjoyed crafts, ceramics, crocheting, puzzles, playing the piano and spending winters with her husband Keith in Florida. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (September 13, 2011) at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne, Ohio. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home (September 14, 2011), with Pastor Ron Merritt officiating. Burial will be in Bradner Cemetery near Bradner, Ohio, with a bereavement luncheon to follow at Church of the Good Shepherd. Memorial donations may be given to Church of the Good Shepherd. |
