Reneé A. Wright, 48, of Millbury, died at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday morning, August 18, 2012, after a brief illness. She was born August 9, 1964, in Oregon, Ohio, to John F., Sr. and Florence E. (Sowell) Wright. Reneé graduated from Penta County Vocational School and Genoa High School in 1982. She received an associate degree in 1997 from Owens Community College in Microcomputer Business Systems. Reneé had worked for Kmart, The Blade as a mailer, for BancTec as a Dell computer technician, and most recently in Retail Project Merchandising for Advantage Sales and Marketing. Her hobbies were many. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed camping and river rafting. She was a NASCAR fan and a Michigan Wolverines fan. She also loved computers. Reneé volunteered at St. Thomas Church Festival every year and had been a past member of the Genoa American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Reneé loved all animals and all children. She very much loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Reneé is survived by her sisters, Amy Irene Fox and Tay Ann Gould, both of Toledo, brother, John (Barbara) F. Wright, Jr. of Millbury, and her uncle, Crawford S. Sowell of Oak Harbor. She was "Aunt Nay" to 4 nieces, 5 nephews, 6 great nieces and 8 great nephews and "Aunt Nay" to all her friends' children as well. She is also survived by her dog, Abby, and her cats, Jade and Spade. Her parents preceded her in death. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, OH 43430, with interment to follow in Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa. The family has requested memorials for Reneé to the Ottawa County Humane Society, 2424 E. Sand Rd., Port Clinton, OH 43452; or Odyssey Hospice, 1745 Indian Wood Circle, Maumee, OH 43537. Immediately following the burial, friends and family are invited for a gathering at Rayz Café, Main St., in Genoa. |
