| About | Robert G. Curtis Jr., 51, of Curtice, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 2, 2012, at St. Charles Hospital. He was born in Camp Le Jeune, NC on June 17, 1961, to Robert and Grace (McIlrath) Curtis Sr. and at the age of 21/2 moved with his parents to Toledo. He was a 1979 graduate of Genoa High School and most recently worked for Fresenius Medical. Bob loved driving his Jeep, singing karaoke, especially Elvis songs, and watching NASCAR. He was a loving son, husband and kind to everyone he met. He was your friend forever and was a very hard working man. Bob is survived by his wife whom he married May 21, 2012, Vera J. (Born) Curtis; parents, Bob and Grace; brothers, Troy (Trina) Curtis and Lonnie Curtis; sister, Deanna (Jim) Avery; stepchildren, Christopher Lee, Courtney Born, Chad Born, Jon Born and Brandon Lee; three grandchildren; uncle, Harmon and Deb McIlrath; aunts, Connie and Harry MacVay, Barb Downs, Marlene and Dick Meis, Woneida and Mike Evanoff, and loving nieces, Olivia and Christina Avery. Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon on Friday, November 9, 2012, from 10-1 p.m. where a funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with Chaplain Moe McCallum officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made directly to the family. |
