Ronald "Ronnie" Hedge, 74, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010, at his home. He was born on July 20, 1935, in Nobil County, Ohio to Clay and Edith Hedge. Ronnie was a 1953 graduate of Genoa High School and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He worked various jobs over years, retiring as a diesel mechanic for Refiners after 20 years. Ronnie is survived by his children, Susan Dile, Richard (Regina) Weyandt, Ralph Hedge, Robert Hedge and Russell Hedge; grandchildren, Lisa (Rod) Dile, John (Susan) Dile, Laura Dile and Cassie Mysinger; 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great- great-grandson. He is also survived by his sisters, Cheryl Slevin and Beverly Haney; brothers, Herbert (Rose) Hedge and Marlin (Rose) Hedge and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Elmira "Mickey" and great-grandson, T.J. Miller. Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 2- 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Allen Twp. Cemetery.
