Rexford "Jackie Boy" Thomas was the oldest of Author Jr and Mattie Thomas born May 12, 1951. Brother Author III(deceased) and Sedric. Voted Most Popular by the Senior Class he ran track and lead Glenville to a State Championship in the relay and hurdle. He played tuba in the marching band. He attended Bowling Green U. and joined Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Epsilon Theta Chapter. He was a 3rd Degree black belt and taught martial arts, night school and Sunday school classes at Greater Abyssinia Baptist Church. He battled MS for 25 years. He is survived by a son, Myron Sr, 5 grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, Shirley Thomas & their daughter Mei-Li and brother Sedric other family and friends. |
