| Events | Gerald “Jerry” Gordon of Johnstown, OH passed away on November 27, 2022 after a brief illness. Jerry married his wife, Teresa, on March 25, 1994. He is survived by her, daughters, Megan (Evan Linnabary) and Becca; sister, Nancy (Larry) Rayment; step-father, John McClain; step-brother, Craig (Marion) McClain as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews . Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanne McClain. Jerry was a devoted father who was so very proud of everything his girls did, were involved with and their accomplishments. They truly were his pride and joy. Jerry was an avid sports fan who loved his Buckeyes, Browns and Indians. Jerry never knew a stranger and always astounded his girls with how many friends he had and people he knew. He had lifelong friends that he loved from his softball years that knew him as Bear. He had many friends from of his years as a Physical Education teacher at Newton Elementary, as well as his retirement friends and workout buddies at LA Fitness. The family will receive friends from1-5pm on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031. The family would like to thank everyone who has prayed for Jerry during his recent illness. They find great comfort in the knowledge that Jerry is now pain free in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
