About | ORDSTOWN — Claude Dwayne Clay, 61, passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening, Dec. 28, 2023, at the Trumbull Regional Medical Center. Dwayne was born in Warren on Dec. 14, 1962, the son of Claude and Wilma Sue Binion Clay. Dwayne was in the trucking industry for many years. He was the owner of DC Hawk Transportation and Clay Brothers Transportation. He enjoyed dirt track racing and spent most of his time tearing up the track at Sharon Speedway, driving the baddest stock car around — built by Greg Cizmar. Dwayne also enjoyed hunting with family and friends. A man that always wore his sunglasses, Dwayne will forever be remembered as 007 to many and will be missed. Dwayne is survived by three brothers, Calvin (Suzy) Clay of Howland, Jim (Becky) Clay of Howland, and Dean Gillespie of Leavittsburg; two sisters, Jane Hanshaw of Howland, and Priscilla (Patrick) Feezle of Warren; several nieces and nephews; his best friends Paul Drotar, Rick Percich and Chas Wolbert Sr.; and many other relatives and longtime friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Clay on Feb. 12, 1991; mother, Wilma Mocabee on July 8, 2019; and infant brother, Ricky. A celebration of life gathering will be announced by the family, at a later date. Arrangements by Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, 126 W. Park Ave., Niles, OH 44446, 330-652-4311.
