| About | WARREN — Greg Lewis, 58, passed away Saturday night, June 21, 2025, at his home. He was born April 9, 1967, to Dennis and Bonnie Lewis. Greg was a 1985 graduate of Howland High School and a lifelong resident of the Warren area. Greg was a laborer and truck driver for many years before dedicating himself to caring for his mother, Bonnie Lewis. He had a love for fishing and bird watching, and in recent years, grew very fond of cooking. He enjoyed cheering on all Cleveland sports teams and THE Ohio State University. He had a longtime love of cars, starting with his 1968 Pontiac GTO. From there, he developed a passion for cleaning and detailing cars to make them look their best. He also loved attending NASCAR races, car shows and Sharon Speedway races. Greg was always helping out family, friends and neighbors, as it brought him much joy and purpose He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Lewis of Warren; brother, Dave Lewis of Cincinnati; niece and nephew, Bryan and Hannah Lewis of Cincinnati; aunts and uncles, Tom and Betty Kalan of Girard, Mary and Gary Rivin of Chagrin Falls, and Janet Lewis of Columbus; cousins, Kim (Mark) Hodgkiss, Tad, Tyler and Tiffany of Johnston; and Dave Dick of Howland. He was preceded in death by his father, Denny Lewis; and grandparents, Clyde and Pauline Lewis, and William and Ella Dick. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Lane Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive NE, Warren, OH 44483, where a service will follow at 4 p.m. The family invites all to a celebration of life following the service at StoneBridge Grille and Tavern, 1415 Niles Cortland Road SE, Howland Township, where all can share favorite memories of Greg with family and friends. Greg loved to talk, and sharing stories and laughing was his favorite thing. He had an amazing long-term memory and often shared stories from his past. Greg was always playing pranks on his friends and family, and he always followed it up with his famous laugh.
