| About | LYRIA — James Robert “Bubba” Wingard, 60, a 15-year resident of Elyria, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2023, at his home. He was born June 24, 1963, in Warren and was a 1982 graduate of Howland High School. Bubba had been employed as a truck driver for Giant Eagle and retired from Transport America. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his dog, Sweet Pea. Bubba is survived by his wife of 26 years, DonnaMarie A. Kreigh Wingard; stepson, Matthew Brykalski of Middlefield; sister, Lori (Tim) Foy of Warren; niece, Kaylie; great-nieces, Gabriella and Bailey; great-nephews, CJ, Urban and Wilder; and best friend, Jesse (Barb) Matheson.
