| About | FOWLER - Jon C. Luster, 54, died Friday morning, Feb. 24, 2012, at his home in Fowler, following a lengthy battle with multiple sclerosis. He was born March 4, 1957, in Warren, the son of the late Carroll F. Luster and Dona M. McCaughtry Luster of Fowler. Jon was a 1975 graduate of Howland High School. He was an avid sports fan, especially of football and NASCAR. Jon had a wonderful sense of humor and had a strong spirit and an uplifting personality. Jon was a loving son, father, grandpa and brother. Jon is survived by his mother, Dona M. Luster, with whom he made his home; one son, Jon B. Luster of Warren; two grandchildren, Dyllan and Brianna Luster; two sisters, Brenda S. Barnes of Warren and Linda R. (Patrick) Arnal of Fowler; one niece, Valerie L. Barnes; and two nephews, Jay R. Barnes and Jeffrey L. Kish. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel in Cortland. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday. Cremation will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Choice Hospice, 1520 E.
