| About | LEAVITTSBURG - Leslie Anne "Rusty" Bass, 50, died Sunday, April 1, 2012, at the Cleveland Clinic after an extended illness. She was born Aug. 19, 1961, in Warren, the daughter of the late Joe L. Bass and Jane E. Sotak Bass. Leslie was a graduate of Howland High School and had worked as a secretary for many different companies, including Trumbull Memorial Hospital and currently AT&T. She enjoyed camping and crafts. She was also a gun enthusiast and enjoyed sport shooting. Leslie will be remembered as a kind and caring person who held a special place in her heart for animals and loved spending time with her dogs. She is survived by her soulmate, Doug Rozeski of Leavittsburg; her mother, Jane Bass of Warren; and two brothers, Ron (Linda) Bass of Cleveland and David (Jennifer) Bass of Leavittsburg. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel in Cortland. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Per Leslie's wishes, cremation will follow and burial will be in the Meadow Brook Memorial Park in Champion.
