| About | PITTSBURGH - Michael S. Hildenbrand, 47, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011. He was born April 8, 1964, in Westmoreland Hospital, the son of Harry Dean and Nancy Rain Hildenbrand of Cortland. He is also survived by two sisters, Ellen Hildenbrand of North Huntingdon, Pa., and Beth (Jose) Colon of Cleveland. He is also survived by loving uncles Robert Hildenbrand, William Hildenbrand and Charles Hildenbrand and their wives; and by many cousins. He was predeceased by a sister, Amy Hildenbrand of Cortland in 2000; grandparents, Eleanor and Albert Rain, and Harry and Martha Hildenbrand. Mike graduated from Howland High School in Warren and Kent State University College of Architecture. He was employed by IKM Inc., an architecture firm in Pittsburgh. Mike was an avid bicyclist who loved riding and walking the biking trails around his Southside home. He also enjoyed traveling and photography. A memorial service for Mike will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 7 at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, Pa. Burial will be private.
