About BURLINGTON, N.C. - Michael Tod Buschagen, 32, formerly of Howland, passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, in Burlington.

He was born Dec.7, 1979, in Warren, and was a lifetime area resident until moving to North Carolina seven years ago. He was a 1998 graduate of Howland High school and attended Kent State University.

Mike was employed for the past seven years as a manager for Food Lion Corp. in North Carolina.

He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Cleveland Browns, and he enjoyed working out and playing softball.

He loved animals and will be missed by his beloved cats, Stiffler and Autumn.

Mike had a smile that would light up a room and will be missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Stacy; his parents, Tami and David Erisky of Las Vegas; three brothers, Sgt. Matthew Buschagen in the U.S. Army, Jason Fecich of Cincinnati and Jarrod Fecich of Warren; and his maternal grandmother, Dolores Park of Vermont.

He also leaves two uncles, Kenneth D. Park of Vermont and Timothy (Lindsay) Park of El Paso, Texas; an aunt, Holly (Brian) Paridon of Niles; and numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kenneth E. Park; and maternal great-grandparents, Ethel and Frank Seminsky.

There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel, in Warren, where friends will be received for one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests material contributions be made to the Animal Welfare League, 545 Brunstetter Road, Warren, OH 44481.
