| About | HOWLAND — Robert R. Houston Sr., 57, of Howland Township, passed away Friday morning, Feb. 4, 2021, from a lengthy illness. He was born Thursday, March 28, 1963, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Harold and Raymonda Gilliland Houston. Robert served in the United States Navy and worked as skilled tradesman. Robert was an avid sports enthusiast, especially the Browns, and he loved classic cars. He loved to cook and help others. Robert leaves behind his wife, the former Brenda Satterfield, whom he married April 28, 2012; sons, Robert R. Houston Jr. of Arkansas, Ryan A. Houston of North Carolina and Tyler J. Houston of Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Olivia, Maverick, and Anderson; and three sisters, Cathryn Marhulik, Vicki Brault and Jill Krembrenk; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no calling hours or funeral service and a caring cremation will take place.
