She was employed by Children's Medical Center of Akron and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Rosary Society. Survived by husband Michael E.; son, Donald; daughter, Stephanie; parents, Don and Lucille Van Horn; sisters, Linda Durnye, all of Akron, Donna McBride of Ravenna, Cheryl Herchenroeder of Akron; mother-in-law, Mary Reinhart of Akron; special friend, Carol Hosfeld.
