| About | Joanne M. Mursell, 71, of Lake City, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021 at the Lake City Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late Henry John MacDonald and Marjorie Thompson MacDonald. She has made Lake City her home since 2013, moving here from the Ft. Lauderdale area. She worked for over 47 years in the Insurance industry and was very active in her church, Celebration Community Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling, long rides on her motorcycle, sewing and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, William E. Mursell, Jr. and one brother, Jeffery MacDonald. She is survived by her daughters, Bobbi Jay Walthall and Kristy Mursell; brother, John MacDonald; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. |
| Events | A memorial service for Mrs. Mursell will be conducted on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ralph Rodriguez and Pastor Don Lewis officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. |
